Starting from Athens through the Athens-Patras National Road, we turn to Akrata and pass through the villages of Voutsimo and Kalamia, which seem to hang on the opposite banks of the river Krathis and throught the settlement of Pyrgos. After the highest point of the route, in the village of Valimi (altitude 970 m.), We descend to reach Lake Tsivlou, one of the few natural mountain lakes in Greece. Then we will visit the village of Zarouchla where we will enjoy our lunch among the green firs and the chestnut trees.Late in the afternoon we will leave for Athens with a stopover for coffee.
